Car dealer gives back to veterans

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- A local car dealer is giving back to our veterans with the help of a little polka and pizza.

Saturday veterans were invited to enjoy some tunes and wood-fired pizza at Prestige Auto in Eau Claire.

Throughout the month of July, Prestige is raising money for Chippewa Valley Veterans.

They're donating 100 dollars for every car you buy and another five bucks for every hat they giveaway.

“The importance of this is to get awareness of the veterans and what they're doing for our community and giving them a little extra money so they can do that for the other veterans,” Prestige sales manager Todd Nelson said.

Prestige has already raised more than $10-thousand and hopes to raise as much as $20-thousand by the end of the month.
