EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Eau Claire city leaders discussed $3.5 million in upgrades to the Carson Park baseball stadium at a public hearing Monday.

The project would be part of the city's five-year capital improvement plan.

The changes include safer bleachers, four-season bathrooms, improved handicap accessibility, and artificial turf on the field.

At Tuesday's regular council meeting, members are scheduled to vote on whether to add funding for the improvements to the five-year plan.
