Cause of cheese factory fire undetermined

WAUSAU, Wis. (WEAU) -- A day after a fire at a cheese factory, there's no word on a cause.

On Monday, WSAW-TV in Wausau reported that Hewitt Fire Chief Brian Hafermann said the cause of the fire at Mullins Cheese Sunday afternoon has been ruled undetermined. He said investigators make that ruling when there is more than one probable cause. The department considers the case to be closed, although an insurance company will typically continue to investigate.

Nobody was hurt in the fire in the Town of McMillan, which is north of Marshfield. It's not considered suspicious in nature. Crews put out the flames in about 15 minutes.
