Caution urged on Rusk County snowmobile trails

LADYSMITH, Wis. (RUSK COUNTY SNOWMOBILE TRAILS UPDATE) --Trails are open and in very good condition throughout the County, with excellent conditions in most areas.  HOWEVER -EXTREME CAUTION IS BEING URGED, last night's snowfall was has caused low hanging branches and fallen limbs.  Trail groomers will be out working and cleaning up trails, but it will likely be next week before all trails are addressed.

The trails are great, and the scenery is breathtaking, but use caution and be safe.

 

LADYSMITH, Wis. (WEAU) -- Snowmobile riders are being urged to be careful as they head out on the trails in Rusk County.

On Friday, the county announced that Thursday night's snowfall caused low-hanging branches and fallen limbs. The trails are open, and considered to be in very good condition. Groomers will be working to clean up the trails.

It will likely be next week before they can address all the trails in the county.
