EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) - A college, several academic departments, and other offices will start moving into the new Centennial Hall at UW-Eau Claire later this month.
On Monday, the university announced that the College of Education and Human Sciences dean's office, the education studies department, the english department, the foreign languages department, and the special education department will all start moving into the building on December 27. The Student Success Center, Blugold Beginnings, and the Office of Multicultural Affairs are set to move there in early January.
Faculty and staff are scheduled to move into their offices during a two-week period then ends January 9. The $44,500,000 Centennial Hall is UW-Eau Claire's first new academic building since 1983. It's nearly 182,000-square-feet. Classes start January 21 in Centennial Hall, which is the start of the spring 2014 semester.
