WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. (WEAU) – Criminal charges are expected to be filed against two men who are suspected in a operation that includes a pot grow that deputies say yielded nearly a quarter of a million dollars in illegal drugs.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department suspects Rodney Jensen, 56, and Tracy Thomas, 51 of growing marijuana outside and having drug paraphernalia in their homes.

Investigators say they found a grow of almost 480 marijuana plants at Jensen’s Babcock home on September 14. He’s believed to have been growing the pot for several years. Deputies say the street value of the drugs is nearly $250,000. The plants, weapons, and drug paraphernalia was all seized from the home.

It led investigators to another outdoor marijuana grow at Thomas’ home nearby. They also found several other plants drying in bedrooms in Thomas’ bedrooms, processed marijuana, and drug paraphernalia, which was all seized.
