Festive send off for Chi Hi state swimmers
(WEAU) - It was a send-off to state at Chippewa Falls Senior High School Friday for members of the Chi Hi swim team.
The eight swimmers include three alternates and were sent off to the WIAA champions with everything from balloons to a band.
The coaches are optimistic and excited about the team's chances at state. "We have some seniors who, this is basically the very last meet, culminating a 12 year career. So, they've worked hard, they've earned it and they're really ready to go," said Coach Steve Byrd.
