EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Chippewa Valley Museum is about to close for three weeks.
On Monday, the museum announced that it will close on December 23 to start a major interior construction project. The museum will open for its regular hours starting on January 14. Crews will renovate the entryway to the museum, and two exhibit galleries. The museum calls it a phase of a major exhibit overhaul.
It plans to put up a new exhibit called "Intersections," which will include stories from a re-examination of the history of the Chippewa Valley, as well as those from previous exhibits.
