Chippewa Valley students gather for journalism conference

(WEAU) - Students from all over the Chippewa Valley came to UW-Eau Claire Wednesday morning to learn about journalism.

It was for the Chippewa Valley School Press Association's Annual Fall Conference. Students were able take part in workshops and gather skills in photography, story writing and the use of media in journalism. This year's event also included opportunities to use social media like Facebook and twitter.

WEAU’s Judy Clark also addressed the students to kick things off.
