EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A final open house was held on Thursday night showcasing plans for the improved Brackett Avenue in Eau Claire. People had the chance to review the plans, comment and ask questions about the designs.

City Engineer David Solberg says a public hearing will be held Monday June 9th and the city council is expected to vote on the project at its June 10th meeting.

If all goes through, he expects road construction to begin in July. The whole project is expected to be completed by October.
