City sanding streets, repairing potholes

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) – Crews are working to apply sand to all residential streets in Eau Claire and patch large potholes.

The pothole pictured was near the intersection of Truax Blvd. and 3rd Street on Monday morning. It had orange cones surrounding it.

A message on the city’s website urges drivers to travel safely, and for everyone to use caution while walking. It goes on to say that slippery spots can be very hard to see.
