EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A stretch of highway will remain closed for the next four weeks as crews replace several I-94 bridges.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation says the closure of County Road F under I-94 in the Town of Washington started Monday. It will last 28 days. Crews will be working on replacing bridges between State Highway 37 and U.S. Highway 53. There are also single-lane closures on I-94, and ramps closed at the highway 37 exit.

The project is expected to cost $25,300,000. The rest of the closures will last until late May.
