Community service for man that failed to provide for animals
Daniel Miller had the animals on a property near Holcombe in Chippewa County and deputies say he never took the time to properly care for them.

(WEAU) - A Ladysmith man has been sentenced for failing to provide for his animals.
Online court records show Daniel Miller, 34, will have to serve 100 hours of community service. A probation sentence was withheld. A felony mistreatment of animals charge was dropped.
Miller had the animals on a property near Holcombe in Chippewa County and deputies say he never took the time to properly care for them. When deputies responded, they found several dead animals.
When Miller talked to deputies, they say he claimed that he had been taking care of the animals, but he'd been away from his property at times.
