Construction begins on new Lake Hallie hotel

VILLAGE OF LAKE HALLIE, Wis. (WEAU) Hampton Hotels and Lake Hallie Lodging picked up their shovels and broke ground Tuesday morning on a new 86-room Hampton Inn and Suites.

The four story hotel will be on 30th Avenue in Lake Hallie and will be operated by Ledgestone Hospitality.

It will have complimentary Wifi and will feature what Hampton calls its "perfect mix" lobby, an area for both leisure and business travelers.

"The owner of the project, viewed this as a new hospitality area and we'll provide a new lodging choice for both business and leisure travelers coming to the Chippewa Falls/Lake Hallie area," explains Ken Garvin of Ledgestone Hospitality.

The hotel is expected to be finished in the Spring of 2015.
