Convicted sex offender moving to Rice Lake

RICE LAKE, Wis. (WEAU)-- Police are warning the public of a registered sex offender being released from prison.

The Rice Lake Police Department says 32-year-old Johnny Rogers is being released on Wednesday. He will be living at a transitional living program home at 24 West Slocumb Street in Rice Lake.

Officers say in 2005, he was convicted of second-degree sexual assault with the use of force.

He will be remotely monitored, and stay under strict supervision until 2027.
