Council plans special meeting for city manager candidates
(WEAU) - The Eau Claire City Council will hold a special meeting to interview the three city manager candidates on Thursday.
The council is hoping to pick one in the coming weeks. The finalists are Dale Peters, the Eau Claire Assistant City Manager and Director of Human Resources. He's been with the city for 23 years.
The second candidate is Stephen Rymer who works for the city of Morgan Hill, California.
The third candidate is Russell Van Gompel, who is the village manager for the Village of Brown Deer, Wisconsin.
