13 hurt when duck boat, pickup truck collide

LAKE DELTON, Wis. (AP) -- Police in Lake Delton say a pickup truck and a Dells Army Duck collided, sending 13 people to the hospital.

A WISN-TV report (http://bit.ly/1kfyGet ) says none of the injuries is believed to be life-threatening.

Police say there were 24 people on the Dells Army Duck, which provides tours on land and water. The vehicle and a pickup truck collided Saturday about 2:30 p.m.

The highway was closed for about two hours.

The Lake Delton Police Department says it responded to a crash involving a pickup truck and Army Duck around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Officers say 13 people were transported to local hospitals for treatment. There were no life threatening injuries.

24 passengers were on board the Army Duck along with the driver. Two people were inside the pick-up truck.

Co. Hwy A was closed off for two hours regarding the crash. The crash is still under investigation.
