PIERCE COUNTY, Wis. (PRESS RELEASE) - On Tuesday August 20, 2013 at 12:45 p.m. the Pierce County Sheriff's Office was notified of a two vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road B and County Road I in the Town of Gilman.
Upon arrival, deputies located both vehicles in the southwest ditch, one of which was resting in it's top.
The driver of a 2007 Mercury Sable, identified as Karen Paris, 61, from Michigan and her passenger identified as Jamie Paris, 19, also from Michigan, was southbound on County Road B and went thru a stop sign at County Road I.
A second vehicle operated by Deborah Pomasl, 53, of Spring Valley was westbound on County Road B when it entered the intersection and was struck on the front passenger side causing severe damage to both.
Pomasl was transported by River Falls Ambulance to Regions Hospital in Minnesota with undetermined injuries.
Both of the Paris' were transported to River Falls Hospital by Spring Valley Ambulance also with undetermined injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
