Crews battle fire at apartment in La Crosse

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Firefighters in La Crosse battled a fire at an apartment and business complex.

It happened on 9th St. N above the laundry business 'A Touch of Sun'

Crews said around 6 p.m. Saturday, firefighters found smoke and fire coming from the back of the second story apartment.

No one was home at the time and one person at the business below got out without injury.

Crews said the upper apartment had moderate fire and smoke damage and the Laundromat had minor water damage.

An investigation is underway to find a cause.
