STANLEY, Wis. (WEAU)-Crews were on the scene of a fire at the Ace Ethanol plant in Stanley for more than 12 hours Wednesday.

The Stanley Fire Chief says the fire started in the duct work of the plant around 4:30 a.m. and it was hard to get to the flames.

The fire was minor and was not near any hazardous materials.
None of the workers had to be evacuated and no one was hurt.

The Chief says dust in the ducts was likely a contributing factor but there is no exact cause of the fire yet and no damage estimate.
