Crews respond to 3 car garage fire in Rice Lake

Rice Lake, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Rice Lake Fire Department responded to a garage fire at about 6:50 p.m. Tuesday night.

It happened at a home on W. Humbird Street in Rice Lake. The fire department says there was a heavy fire in the garage coming through the roof. An SUV that was not in the garage was also on fire.

Fire crews were able to put out the fire by about 7:10 p.m. The damage is estimated to be about $50,000.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
