TRAFFIC ALERT: Crews to start work on County Rd. I; periodic closures expected

ALTOONA, Wis. (EAU CLAIRE COUNTY HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT NEWS RELEASE) -- Eau Claire County Highway Department construction crews will commence work on County Trunk Highway (CTH) I in the Town of Pleasant Valley approximately 0.4 miles south of CTH HH on Monday, June 9, 2014. Crews will be performing a centerline culvert replacement at this location. In conjunction with this work, the existing pavement will be removed and replaced, and drainage will be reestablished.

Periodically, CTH I will be closed in order to accommodate this work. During this time, traffic will be detoured to CTH HH, CTH U, and Elm Road. Local traffic will be allowed access to property along the construction site at all times.

The detour will likely be removed by June 27. Construction will likely be completed by October 31, 2014.
