Crews battle house fire in La Crosse, no one hurt

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Crews battled an overnight house fire in La Crosse Saturday.

The La Crosse Fire Department says it happened just before 1 a.m. Saturday at a home on Market Street.

Crews say two adults had gotten out of the home after smelling smoke.

The fire was contained to one room but there was severe smoke and heat damage.

No one was hurt and the cause is still under investigation.
