EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) People in the area got a free workout Friday while raising money for a good cause.

It's called "Crossfit for a Cure" and was held at Momentum Cross-Fit 715 in Eau Claire.

The lesson was free, and all donations went to Joshua's Camp, a local non-profit camp for children with cancer and their families.

"We have other crossfit gyms in the area that are getting involved, so its nice to see the crossfit community coming together to raise money for such a great cause," says Chad Dalhoe, of Momentum Crossfit 715.

This is the second year "Crossfit for a Cure" has been put on.

Dalhoe says last year the event raised $9,000.
