Customers line up in Eau Claire for iPhone 5
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Customers around the world packed into Apple and phone stores Friday hoping to get their hands on an iPhone 5.
People lined up at the Verizon store in Eau Claire and about 20 others waited outside the AT&T store.
The store says it has been busy with customers coming in and out to purchase the smartphone.
It's also expected to be a busy weekend filled with shoppers.
Apple received two million pre-orders in the first 24 hours of announcing its release date.
