Dairy farm fire destroys machine shop

(WEAU) - A fire at a Trempealeau County dairy farm sends one firefighter to the hospital Thursday and destroyed a machine shop.

Galesville firefighters say it happened at a dairy farm on County Highway T just outside town. They got the call just after 2:30 p.m. Crews don't know what caused the fire that destroyed the shop. A firefighter was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion, no one else was hurt.

It took about an hour to put out with three departments working on it.
