Deputies investigate fatal motorcycle accident

Township of Gale, Trempealeau Co. (WEAU) - Deputies in Trempealeau County are still investigating the cause of a crash that killed a motorcyclist.

They say it happened around 4 P.M. Tuesday on State Rd. 54 near the Township of Gale.

A semi driver lost control and flipped on to its side, striking the oncoming motorcyclist.

Deputies say the driver of the motorcyle was pronounced dead on the scene. The semi driver had minor injuries.

State Rd. 54 was closed for about seven hours as crews worked to move the semi.

Right now the Sheriff's Department is not releasing the names of those involved.
