NEW INFORMATION: Man turns himself in for cabin burglary

TAYLOR COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)-- UPDATE: The Taylor County Sheriff’s Department says a man has turned himself in for a cabin burglary near Medford.

The Sheriff’s Department says after it sent out the release Tuesday, it had several phone calls from people identifying the suspect as 33-year-old Travis G Hamm of Thorp.

Deputies say around 8 Tuesday night, Hamm turned himself into the Taylor County jail.

The Sheriff’s Dept. says it wants to thank the public and news media for their help with the investigation.

TAYLOR COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU)--Deputies are searching for a man who stole tools from a cabin in Taylor County.

The Taylor County Sheriff's Department says a hidden game camera caught the man's picture as he left the cabin with the items in hand.

Deputies say the burglary happened on January 8th in the Town of Molitor, northwest of Medford.
