NEW INFORMATION: Missing man found safe

UPDATE: Mr. Windsor has been safely located in Pepin County.
DURAND, Wis. (WEAU) – Deputies need your help as they search for a missing man.

Brad Windsor has been missing since February 19. He was last seen at Pine Ridge, a group home on County Road V in Durand. Windsor’s mother tells WEAU 13 News that he ran away from the group home during the morning of February 19, and hasn’t been seen since. She calls her son an “at risk adult,” and says that he left with no money or food.

In January 2012, Windsor was arrested after investigators say he pointed a toy gun at Knapp Elementary School. The school went on lockdown for about an hour. Nearby apartments were evacuated.

On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, Brad M. Windsor DOB 07/26/1979 walked away from a group home just outside the City of Durand. Windsor was last seen on Tuesday, February 19 on County Road V in Pepin County. Windsor has cognitive disabilities and a history of mental illness. Windsor is believed to have been without his medications since Tuesday and can become unstable without them, caution should be used. Windsor is described as being approximately 6 feet tall 250 pounds with a stocky build, black hair, brown eyes and facial hair. Windsor was last seen wearing a tan jacket, light brown hat and blue jeans. Windsor is originally from the Boyceville area.
