Deputies cut down trees to catch suspect
(WEAU) – It was an interesting night for some deputies as they tried to chase down a man for robbery and burglary.
Burnett County Deputies say they were called to a home on March 14th that had been burglarized in Webster. When they got there, Thomas James Polski, 21, ran off into the woods. Minutes later they spotted him in a tree.
When he refused to come down after jumping between trees, deputies cut down the tree he was in and arrested him.
