Deputy Chief Eric Larsen retiring after 28 years
The department says Eric Larsen began his career as a patrol officer for the Hallie Police Department from March 1983 until December 1983.

After 28 years of service, an Eau Claire Police Department Deputy Chief is retiring.
The department says Eric Larsen began his career as a patrol officer for the Hallie Police Department from March 1983 until December 1983. He was then hired as a police officer with the Eau Claire Police Department.
During his career, Deputy Chief Larsen worked in the Patrol Division, Special Operations Section, Detective Division and Drug Unit. He was promoted through the ranks of sergeant and lieutenant prior to being promoted to Deputy Chief on May 26, 2006.
