(WEAU) - High school students in Eau Claire may soon start their day two hours later.
School District Superintendent Dr. Ron Heilmann says the Parent Advisory Council talked about the issue, but it would be up to the school board to make a decision. He says the move could have an impact on the budget because of transportation issues.
The move comes after research has found adolescent brains are not fully functional at 7:30 in the morning.
