CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) - Crews have re-opened a stretch of State Highway 27 where a truck with a lift or boom took down power lines.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. Monday. Chippewa County Sheriff Jim Kowalczyk says the truck has left a trail of downed lines from the Village of Cadott, to the north, ending near County Road O. Nobody was hurt.
The Wisconsin State Patrol had a stretch of highway 27 shut down in both directions for about an hour. It reported that the highway was re-opened just after 11:30 a.m. Monday.
