Downtown Eau Claire Christmas tree shines bright after lighting ceremony

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)- Thousands of lights are shining tonight on downtown Eau Claire’s Christmas tree.

Saturday night the lights were turned on the 25-foot balsam fir which is located in the parking lot on South Barstow Street across from the Children's Museum of Eau Claire.

Downtown Eau Claire Inc. says volunteers helped decorate the tree and topped it off with a new tree topper this year.

The Christmas tree will be on display until January.
