EAU CLAIRE COUNTY, Wis (WEAU)—A 20-year-old Eau Claire woman was airlifted to a hospital after leading a Trooper on a high speed chase and rolling her car.

It happened around 7:00 Sunday night. The Wisconsin State Patrol says a Trooper tried to pull over the woman for speeding on STH 37 in the town of Brunswick. Instead of pulling over, troopers say she turned west on Nelson Road and drove off.

The State Patrol says the driver eventually rolled her car and was thrown from the vehicle. She was not wearing a seat belt. The state patrol says the woman’s name is not being released. She was flown from the scene to an Eau Claire hospital with unknown injuries.

Alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the crash.
