EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- Deputies arrested a rural Fall Creek man after a chase.

The Eau Claire County Sheriff's Office says it arrested Andrew Hinman, 22, on Tuesday. The chase happened around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, when a deputy tried to stop a vehicle on London Road near Brian Street. Hinman was driving, and refused to stop. Deputies followed Hinman on roads south of U.S. Highway 12 to a dead end road near Fall Creek. That's where Hinman left his vehicle when it got stuck in a field. Deputies caught him as he was walking on County Road I.

Hinman is also accused of marijuana possession. As of Wednesday afternoon, Hinman had not been charged in the case.
