A driver has been found after crashing into another car and taking off on foot in Vernon County.

Deputies say the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Town of Hamburg.

They say 25-year-old Lamine Z. Rondeau-Rieder was driving eastbound on County Road K when his car crossed the highway and collided with a westbound car.

Rondeau-Rieder's car came toa stop in a nearby lawn. He left the scene on foot and was found on Saturday.

He told deputies he swerved to miss a deer and had minor injuries.

The driver of the other car had minor injuries but refused transport. His passenger was not hurt. The crash is under investigation by the Vernon County Sheriff's Dept.
