SUPERIOR, Wis. (WEAU) -- A Duluth, Minnesota man is facing a drug charge after a bust south of Superior late last week.
On Monday, prosecutors filed criminal charges against Odis Jones, 35. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office tells KBJR-TV that Jones was arrested on U.S. Highway 53 in the Town of Wascott after investigators served a search warrant on his car. They ended up seizing more than 29 grams of heroin. Court records show that it happened on Friday.
Investigators say the drugs have a street value of more than $7,400. Jones is charged with Heroin Possession With the Intent to Deliver, and Bail Jumping. If convicted, he could spend 25 years in prison.
