(WEAU) - Dunn County has officially approved a sand mining moratorium.
The county board approved the moratorium in a vote Wednesday night. County board members say the moratorium means the county won't process any applications from people or businesses wanting to mine sand. The moratorium affects only unincorporated areas in the county and
Will last six months though the county could end it earlier.
