ECASD teachers say goodbye to snow days
(WEAU) - Eau Claire teachers won't be having a snow day along with the kids this winter.
The new employee handbook requires teachers to attend school along with other staff of the Eau Claire School District.
Human Resources says this was put in place before superintendent Hardebeck started.
Teachers are not allowed to use a sick day, but can use a personal day if they have one.
Food service workers are exempt from work that day.
