Another Easter event is Saturday afternoon at Freedom Park in Eau Claire. The 5th Annual Grand Avenue Egg Hunt starts at 2 p.m. Children are encouraged to dress up as their favorite fairytale, woodland, or fanciful character, and take part in a traditional egg hunt. Adult supervision is required, and participants should bring their own baskets. Freedom Park is at the corner of First Avenue and West Grand Avenue.
EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A local Boy Scouts council is about to hold its fifth annual Easter Egg Hunt.
The Chippewa Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America is hosting the event at the Pine Pavilion at Carson Park in Eau Claire on Saturday. Organizers say they have activities for all ages planned. The event will go on rain or shine.
The grounds will open to the public at 9 a.m. The event starts at 10 a.m.
