Eau Claire County included in air quality advisory

MADISON, Wis. (WEAU) -- Eau Claire County is among some areas in the state experiencing an Advisory for Particle Pollution.

The Department of Natural Resources issued the advisory Friday around 4 p.m. It runs until 11 p.m. Friday. During the advisory, the quality of the air is considered unhealthy for sensitive groups. People with heart and lung disease, older adults and children are at greater risk because of particles in the air. Those people are asked to reschedule or cut back on strenuous activities.
