EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- A group that wants students to think twice about drinking, drug use, and other destructive decisions will stand out at a pair of high school football games.
Eau Claire County high school Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) will draw attention to student deaths caused by underage drinking. They'll wear special t-shirts at these two games:
-North vs. Memorial at Carson Park on Thursday at 7 p.m.
-Colby vs. Altoona at Altoona High School on Friday at 7 p.m.
Young people from six high schools in Eau Claire County, adults, and people from the Alliance for Substance Abuse Prevention will take part. The SADD group says 5,000 young people die each year because of underage drinking.
