Eau Claire Parks and Rec offers "Try Hockey for Free" clinic

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Eau Claire Parks and Recreation Department, in cooperation with the Eau Claire Youth Hockey Association, is sponsoring a “Try Hockey For Free” clinic from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Hobbs Ice Center, 915 Menomonie St.

Area high school, collegiate and youth hockey coaches will assist in equipment fitting and on ice instruction for boys and girls ages 4 to 9.

Representatives from the Parks and Recreation Department, along with the Youth Hockey Association, will be available to answer questions about how to become involved in youth hockey and how to register for future programs.
