EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) -- The Eau Claire Police Department has three new officers on its staff.

On Wednesday morning, officers Cory Reeves of Wisconsin Rapids, Mark Vang of Green Bay, and Tyler Larsen of Eau Claire were sworn in. Larsen is the son of former Deputy Chief and current City Councilman Eric Larsen. During the ceremony, the officers introduced themselves and their families. Chief Jerry Staniszewski addressed the officers, and told them what is expected of them in their new jobs.

The three officers started serving with the department Wednesday. They will be assigned to the department's patrol division. They also start the Eau Claire Police Department Police Training Officer Program on Wednesday.
