MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WEAU) -- Several area communities are on the schedule for the Minnesota Twins Winter Caravan.

On Thursday, January 16, the caravan is scheduled to be in Eau Claire. Among the players and broadcasters set to take part in the visit are Kyle Gibson, Caleb Thielbar, Tony Oliva, and Cory Provus. The team calls the schedule a "preliminary route," and says the schedule and players are subject to change.

This is the team's 54th annual Winter Caravan. It stops in nearly 50 communities between January 13 and January 23. It features teams of current and former players visiting schools, hospitals, businesses and service clubs. The caravan is also scheduled to be in Winona, MN on January 15, and Balsam Lake and Red Wing, MN on January 22.
