Eau Claire library gets a makeover

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU)-- The Eau Claire library has a new look.

There are three new seating areas at L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library that overlook the Eau Claire River.

The $60,000 project started in January and the new area just opened last week. You'll also find new flooring, seating, updated electrical outlets that come with USB charging, plants and historical photographs of Eau Claire.

The project was funded by donations from community members, including the estate of Mildred Gerland, a former library volunteer.
