DURAND, Wis. (WEAU) -- An Eau Claire man is charged after his arrest for 9th offense drunk driving.

Prosecutors filed criminal charges against Michael Behlke, 44, of Eau Claire on Monday. The Durand Police Department says an officer stopped him for speeding on Saturday afternoon. The officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol when he went up to the vehicle. Police say Behlke failed multiple sobriety tests, and was later arrested. The officer also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Behlke when he arrested him.

A judge set Behlke's bond at $10,000 cash on Monday.
