Eau Claire recycling Christmas trees again this year

(WEAU) - If you have a live Christmas tree, after the holidays wrap up, you can recycle it.

The City of Eau Claire and the county will be accepting Christmas trees at Carson Park again this year. You can drop off the trees from now until January 20th for free.

It's called the Merry Mulch program and the trees will be turned into mulch.

The mulch will then be available for people for free in the spring to use in landscaping projects.
