A spring cleaning for Eau Claire streets

By  |

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WEAU) Eau Claire streets are getting a spring clean-up after the long, cold winter.

According to the city's website, street sweepers are ready to start picking up the sand and salt from the winter's ice control operations.

Crews will also begin repairing potholes, cleaning up trash, opening frozen catch basins and preparing equipment for summer operations.

The winter equipment and salt reserves are still ready, however, for any spring snowstorms.
